Rating System

Generally, a book is a 3 for me by default. If something stands out to me in a positive manner, it becomes a 4. If the story or the characters stay with me after I finish the book, it becomes a 5.

On the contrary, if I find something majorly annoying or if certain plot points don’t make sense to me, the book becomes a 2. If I have to skim to get through the end, it drops to a 1. That’s the lowest I go. I don’t review books I don’t finish because I don’t think that’s fair.

As you can see, I don’t really have a specific criteria for my ratings; I just go by how I feel about a certain book. This is as close as I can get to an actual rating system. My reviews are obviously very subjective, so please read them at your own caution. I hope you also consider this fact when asking me to review your books.
